HOW THIS FERRARI 348 FELL VICTIM TO AN UNSEEN ENEMY
S2 E12: We revisit an old friend. We 1st sold this 1991 Ferrari 348ts 5 years ago to a good client of ours. The car was stored in an open aired garage for 5 years right by the ocean. Well 5 years of salty air really took it’s toll.
This car also needs the 5 year engine out service. This service is mostly for the cam belt and tensioners replacement, but typically one takes advantage to replace the water pump, thermostat, and other items that are routine maintenance, but just easy to get to while the engine is out.
This car actually a solid example with 28k miles. It has a clean history report and drives incredibly well. As you probably noticed the car is equipped with F355 wheels (typical move in the late 90’s) and F355 taillights accented with a challenge grill. The only additional modification is the Larini exhaust . SOUNDS AMAZING! Unfortunately we really couldn’t pick that up in this video.
So the question stands: to sell as is or put in the money it deserves and restore?
