What are the interior features of the Mercedes-Benz GLA 35 AMG 4matic?

Very contemporary interior and the feel of luxury is present. Ergonomics are a big deal to me and this SUV had all functions just a finger click away. I love how the AUTO STOP function sits right below the Start button, genius!

My test vehicle was finished in Night Black exterior over two tone Neva Grey/Black MB-TEX, and trim in brushed aluminum. The most entertaining function was all the ambient lighting options; 64 colors to choose from, door panel, dash, aircraft-inspired air vents, and footwells all light up. You can choose from keeping it one consistent color or alternating with different mood options.

This is a very sport car inspired SUV, so I actually like the fact it did not have a sunroof or panoramic roof. The dash is broken up into two 10.25″‘ screens but is one continuous panel. The “mouse pad” made all functions easy to navigate through the infotainment system.

How does the Mercedes-BEnz GLA 35 AMG 4MATIC SUV drive?

I have two perspectives to answer this question:

As a fairly tall, family man, It makes you the cool dad on the block being able to manage the daily duties with the AMG style and fun. Comfortable for 5 passengers and a cargo area of 50.5 cu-ft. Vehicle height is perfect for getting in/out, for adults, children and cargo.

As a car enthusiast, Mercedes-Benz has great provenance of having some of the greatest sports cars we have ever seen, so what better than sharing some of that pedigree daily. Although, it’s is AMG enhanced (vsAMG handcraft), the SUV is sporty, handles incredibly and a very fast transmission that made paddle driving very exhilarating.

Final thoughts

Entry level SUV, luxury, and sports car. A perfectly well rounded vehicle for the individual that can’t afford a second car or doesn’t have the space for a second car. The GLA 35 AMG is a great blend for true car enthusiast. It was so great and fun to drive that it kept me think, how does the GLA45 AMG drive?
