How does the BMW X5 XDRIVE45E Drive?
I have two perspectives to answer this question:
As a fairly tall, family man, It is the perfect daily for hauling around children and getting around town. It’s comfortable, spacious and practical. Designed for the modern family in mind with USB ports and outlets throughout. It has tons of safety features and best of all a friendly 52 MPG! An impressive number for an SUV, especially one with so much performance, which leads me to my next point.
As a car enthusiast, The car has aggressive exterior features, big wheels and means real business when it comes to performance. BMW claims 5.2 seconds from 0-60 MPH. having the e-boost makes such a big difference with acceleration off the line. Despite being slightly heavier due to battery packs, the handling felt very tight and sporty.
I like how BMW considers this the PHEV, but doesn’t emphasis it, both physically and driving experience. It truly delivers the remarkable world of electric vehicles with the flexibility of combustion engine. It’s well balanced and reflective of what we want in a driving machine and the future. Not to mention the beautiful styling and safety BMW is synonymous for.
