Is the GMC Sierra all new for 2022?
Yes and no. 2022 will bring a newly designed truck, mainly with a completely redesigned interior, but until that release later in 2022, the current 2022 Limited is a rollover from 2021. The 2021 does offer some new features. The trailer assistance has several new or enhancement features. The Sierra’s Multipro tailgate now offers a wider availability and more paint options.

The Sierra cabin isn’t overdone. It’s simple and straightforward. It provides an upright center stack with user-friendly functionality. Good storage space throughout, head-up display, heated and ventilated front buckets. The cabin in general is practical and spacious. I’m also a fan of the camera rearview “mirror”. Extremely high definition and wide-angle, allowing you to get a clear understanding of your surroundings.
A touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability is standard. Likewise, every model offers a mobile hotspot for Wi-Fi on the go. Other available infotainment features include a Bose audio system, built-in navigation, wireless charging for phones, and additional power points.
How does the GMC Sierra 1500 Limited Denali?
I have two perspectives to answer this question:
As a fairly tall, family man, Although it’s a pickup truck, it might as well be an SUV. It has the looks, tech, comfort, and smoothness of a family oriented SUV. The versatility it offers is exactly what differentiates this truck. It’s an excellent fit for any individual that truly relies on a truck to get whatever the job is done.
As a car enthusiast, I personally feel like it meets my expectations of a car enthusiast. Powerful naturally aspirated 6.2L V8, 22″ high gloss black wheels, dual exhaust, Kicker speaker audio entertainment in the tailgate, good looks, and luxury qualities. It’s driving a truck with no compromise.
Final thoughts
Competition is certainly strong in what seems to be a growing segment. The bold looks, comfort and price point is what differentiates this truck. Some of the most classic trucks on the road today are GMC’s.
