No, but there aren’t many significant updates to the 2023 model year but Chevrolet has introduced several new paint options for the Trailblazer, including Nitro Yellow Metallic (as tested), Fountain Blue, and Sterling Gray Metallic. Additionally, customers can choose to add an Iridescent Pearl Tricoat roof color as an optional feature. It remains a practical and budget-friendly choice for those seeking a compact SUV with a spacious interior and easy maneuverability in crowded parking lots. It is also a smaller and more affordable alternative to Chevrolet’s Blazer model.

What engine comes with Trailblazer?
1.3L Turbo Three-cylinder engine
The Trailblazer comes with your choice of two turbocharged three-cylinder engines: a 1.2-liter and a 1.3-liter. The 1.2-liter engine produces 137 horsepower and is paired with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The 1.3-liter engine, on the other hand, generates 155 horsepower and can be outfitted with optional all-wheel drive. If you choose the all-wheel drive system, you’ll also get a nine-speed automatic transmission in place of the CVT.
What are the interior features of the Trailblazer RS?
The interior design is also youthful and has a sense of “trendy” to it. It’s spacious, and with functionality providing all the convenience items found in the RS. The driving position much like a traditional SUV, sits high. The rear has plenty of space for two adults. Accent trim in red and a mixture of textured plastic give the feel of a more high-end vehicle. Cargo space is moderate as expected in a small SUV. However, the front passenger seat does fold proving added cargo space for extra long items.
Chevy’s newest infotainment system, will give access to bluetooth, connecting up to two devices at the same time. All is displaced on the 8.0-inch touchscreen unit. Connectivity to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as Sirius XM satellite radio. Bose sound system providing the jams through the 6 speakers.
How does the Chevrolet Trailblazer AWD RS Drive?
I have two perspectives to answer this question:
As a fairly tall, family man, The cabin is spacious and practical. The RS comes with just the right about of technology, especially when hauling kids around. It’s the day-to-day commuter with the capability of a little more given the AWD. Go a little deeper in adventures with the kids!
As a car enthusiast, The car has big personality and it’s as though the car wants you to showcase yours. The 1.3L Turbo surprised me with is zippy ways and made for a very pleasant driving experience. I like the off road capabilities, the attention to detail in the interior and the comfort, all packaged in.
Final thoughts
It’s trendy, functional and comfortable with safety in mind. I definitely think it’s for a younger demographic. In my option ages 18-30. It joins a long line of proven Chevy SUV’s and a attractive competitor in the segment. Great option for a well rounded vehicle with entry level budget.
