No, for its final model year, the Chrysler 300 stays mostly unchanged, it welcomes back the 300C variant, equipped with the robust 6.4-liter V-8 engine. Chrysler claims that this powerful engine enables the 300C to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. The 300C model boasts several enhancements, including a refined interior featuring carbon fiber accents, Brembo brakes, adaptive suspension, and an exclusive tri-color badge. However, aside from these updates, the rest of the Chrysler 300 remains largely unchanged for the 2023 model year.

The Chrysler 300 offers optional all-wheel drive, exclusively paired with the standard 292-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine. Lower models are available with either a 5.7-liter V-8 engine or the standard 292-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine. The high-performance 485-horsepower 6.4-liter V-8 engine is reserved for the 300C model. All engine options come with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
What are the interior features of the Chrysler 300?
The Touring serves as the base model for the Chrysler 300, featuring cloth seats and minimal amenities. Stepping up, the Touring L and 300S models offer enhanced features such as power-adjustable front seats with heating and adjustable lumbar support, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather seats, and illuminated front and rear cupholders. Additional comfort options, including heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and a power-adjustable steering wheel, are available on all but the base model. The new 300C model elevates the luxury with Black Laguna leather seats, a standard 19-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, and interior carbon fiber accents. How does the Chrysler 300C drive?
I have two perspectives to answer this question:
As a fairly tall, family man, “It a big American car, of course it has plenty of space for the family” at least that is what I have to tell my wife for one of these. But I wouldn’t be lying! It’s everthing we love about big sedans, comfort at it’s finest.
As a car enthusiast, What is not to love here, nearly 500HP at your beck and call, without the sacrifice of anything. It’s civil if you want it or a beast if you need it. The looks are fantastic and I put this in the modern classic category.
Final thoughts
Just as 2023 is closing out so is the production of the 300. With a name plate dating back the 40’s we can say it’s had one heck of a run! I’m honored to have had the opportunity to test drive this 300C as production closes out. With only 2,200 units, I suggest you get your hands on one of these modern classics if you can. So long 300, you’ll be missed!
