The Palisade has a few new changes in 2023, a refresh exterior gives a more squared-off appearance. This updated appearance is complemented by fresh wheel designs, and the interior has also seen some enhancements. Notably, the instrument panel now boasts a higher resolution 12.0-inch infotainment screen, and a revamped steering wheel. Noteworthy additions encompass a Wi-Fi hotspot, heated third-row seats, and a driver’s seat with massage functionality.

What engine comes with the Hyundai Palisade?
The Palisade boasts a 3.8-liter V-6 engine that comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine generates 291 horsepower, and the Palisade’s transmission can be manually engaged using the conveniently integrated steering-wheel-mounted paddles.
What are the interior features of the HYUNDAI Palisade?
The SE and SEL trims accommodate a total of eight passengers, whereas the Limited and Calligraphy variants opt for second-row captain’s chairs, reducing the seating capacity to seven. The second row is equipped with a convenient button for shifting the seat forward, facilitating access to the third row. Road noise is effectively muffled, but there’s wind noise seeping through the doors. Power-folding mechanisms for both the second and third rows are available as an option for the SEL trim, while the Limited and Calligraphy trims come standard with this feature.
Cargo capacity with all seats folded down is a generous 86 cubic feet. If you opt to keep the second row upright while folding the third row, the available storage area measures up to 46 cubic feet and when utilizing the third row for seating, the space diminishes to a modest 18 cubic feet.
A 12.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, in-dash navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth connectivity is standard on all trims. Up to seven USB ports are available and you can connect two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. When equipped with Hyundai’s Blue Link app service, the Palisade can be locked, unlocked, and started remotely through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
How does the HYUNDAI Palisade Drive?
I have two perspectives to answer this question:
As a fairly tall, family man, This is the epitome of a family car. Nothing to not love here. Excellent space, comport, safety, and technology. The ride wonderful and the ride hight is perfect, above the rest, but not too high for loading the kids.
As a car enthusiast, I’m not sure if to use the word luxury SUV, but this is definitely the sensation. I like big cars and the Palisade satisfies that need. I’m also a fan of the new front end. I think it’s a look that’s becoming distinctive Hyundai design language. The squared look gives the truck a stronger appearance and more masculine.
Final thoughts
It’s everything you want in a larger SUV with the right price and features. Over the years the Palisade has proven itself and I believe it’s a top contender in it’s segment.
